In this issue
- The third issue of SHADA Newsletter focuses on the roadway
of solar legislation in Spain, with first strong environment
oriented regulation coming up in Barcelona in year 2000 making
installation of solar thermal energy mandatory for most of
new buildings and major renovations. The issue elaborates
on the way this regulation was formulated. Other stories in
the newsletter describe principles of carbon counting for
buildings in use and reports on 2 major events in field of
sustainable building design “SHADA carbon counting workshop
for teachers in architecture" and "Second International
